The Blues Shack 98.7 RPPfm Mornington Thursdays 10pm facebook/Thebluesshackaus This week on The Blues Shack we have one of The Peninsulas most popular Blues Artists paying live to air - Rob Papp and Blueshead (robpapp) Rob Papp (Pappalardo) has over 30 years of experience playing in bands, which includes performances in R&B, Blues, Jazz and Acoustic bands. His career begun at the age of 16 when he was studying and playing in a Jazz ensemble with Bruce Clarke, one of the founder members of the College of the Arts. He studied in America at the Music Institute of Technology under the guidance of world professional players such as Tommy Tedesco Joe Pass and Robben Ford, returning to Melbourne and established Blue Note College of Music a mecca for musical talent. Robs recent project is Blues head is a combination of traditional Blues and Funky Jazz, and with which his place in the local Blues industry was formerly recognised when in 2013 the band were awarded the honour of being included in the program list of the inaugural Blues At The Briars Festival. Rob Papps Blues head can be found most weeks playing throughout the Peninsula in all the great Blues Venues. You will also find Robb playing, Jamming and supporting the new Peninsula Blues Club which is held on the second Sunday of each month at The Frankston Bowls Club.
