The Board of Directors approved a program which started in June 2012 to reward members who recruit new members with a $35 discount on their next membership renewal. Since last June 172 discount vouchers were mailed to members who recruited a new member. Forty-seven members have redeemed their vouchers as their membership renewal came due. You too can receive this reward by recruiting a new NAWCC regular or business member. If you know someone who has a horological related business, they can benefit from becoming a NAWCC business member. They will be included in our business directory which will give them exposure to the over two million visitors to our websites each year. Over 250 businesses around the world have already taken advantage of this opportunity. Last week we mentioned the conversion of our slide-tape programs to DVD/streamable media. As we have volunteers work on this project we would like to take the scanned slides out of the slide carousels and put the slides into archival storage boxes which take up significantly less space and better preserve the original images. In order to complete this part of the project we are seeking a donation of $300.00 from a chapter or individual to purchase the archival storage supplies for all the slide/tape programs.
