The Body Elemental Takes Its Cues from You Your body elemental takes its cues from you. It is a mimic of your moods and mandates. Whether you say, “I am well†or “I am sick,†“I feel good†or “I feel bad,†the body elemental is like a genie that will carry out your wish. Your karma is its only limitation. That is why all the advice you hear about having a “positive mental attitude†is true. Whether or not you acknowledge the existence of your body elemental, your body elemental takes its orders from you and acts according to your will. All of your thoughts and feelings are transferred to it, and it immediately programs them into the cells of your body. So if you train your body elemental to think negatively, it will obey. So often we set our own limitations. We decide we must have so many hours of sleep, we can eat only certain foods, we can only do a specific type of work, we will catch a cold if we are in a draft, etc. These concepts can become accepted by our subconscious mind and can affect us more than we realize. They may be out pictured by our body elemental, which thinks it is obeying our wishes. If we feel sickly, if we have concepts of chronic conditions, the body elemental begins to bear the weight of that consciousness and may even begin to stoop over. Some body elementals are actually hunchbacks because they are so weighted down by people’s fears about their bodies. Doubts and fears can paralyze our body elemental—people may have such great fears that they completely deprive their elemental of the opportunity to do its perfect work of healing and caring for the body. A positive attitude toward life can help it establish health and well-being. Don’t underestimate what your body elemental can do for you. Its knowledge of the workings of the body is far beyond the attainment of medical science today.
