The Body Narrative are looking for pieces that explore and uncover the lives of Black women in Britain and this includes personal narratives! Deadline for submissions is the 15th of September. We only accept submissions via email. In the first instance, -please send your pitches and queries to submissions@thebodynarratives. Finished pieces must be sent to the editor’s personal email. Hana Riaz : hana@thebodynarratives Nikki Hall: nikki@thebodynarratives Work must be in one of the following file forms: .doc, .pdf, .docx, .txt, .mp3, .mp4, .mov Formatting Your Work: All work should be in 12-point type, preferably Times New Roman or Arial. The contributor’s name, telephone number, and email address should be typed at the top of the first page. Contributors are asked to include a brief biographical note with their submissions. Word counts : Columns must be 800-1000 words. Reviews can be between 600 – 800 words. Features can run up to 2000 words max with a minimum word count of 800.
