The Boron Bobcats are SUPER BOWL BOUND, Coach Tim Seaman confirmed for 17 Sports. The Bobcats were one of three finalists in the group category of the NFLs Together We Make Football contest. The Bobcats made the finals because of the schools remarkable story. Boron High School has won numerous league and state championships, despite having the smallest 11-man football roster in California. Thanks to 17 News viewers who voted, and people across Kern County, the Bobcats won! Voting ended this week. The official results will be announced Friday morning on the Today Show. Super XLIX will air live on KGET-TV Sunday, February 1.
