The Boston Bruins (36-16-3, 75 pts) visit the St. Louis Blues (37-12-6, 80 pts) tonight at 8pm. The Blues won the early game between the teams this season, 3-2 in a shoot out in Boston. David Warsofsky will be in the line up tonight to take the place of Zdeno Chara, who has already left for the Olympics to carry the flag for Slovakia. The Bruins are 14-10-1 on the road this season, with a 4-1-3 record against Central Division opponents. Boston also has a 13-4-3 record against Western Conference teams. The Bruins are 7-1-1 in their last nine games. Boston is 4-0-1 in its last five road games. The Bruins are coming off a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks. The Blues are 4-1-1 in their last six games. I expect this to be a hard fought game between 2 excellent teams, that is another good measuring stick of where the Bruins stand in the overall NHL power structure. Since Tuukka Rask is preparing to represent Team Finland at the upcoming Winter Olympics, its possible backup Chad Johnson could play the next two games for Boston.
