The Bourbon Chase team from Hardin County, the Barrel Chasers, ran a 200 mile team relay this weekend to raise money for the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association! From what we hear, the run went excellently for both the runners and their support crew. The Barrel Chasers was the top fundraising team for the event, and more money is still coming in on their fundraising page. They have raised nearly $10,000 so far, a portion of which will go directly to CASA of the Heartland to support our local CASA volunteers and the children they serve.
