The Bow River on a beautiful September day in Calgary. I have the good fortune to speak to businesses in High River tonight about the importance of having hope and perseverance as an entrepreneur -- even after suffering significant setbacks. Many of these good people lost so much during the floods. Today we all can see again the beauty of a river, but now, over a year since the flood, we fully understand the impact and force of its strength. As a business owner I was also affected by the flood and am reminded of a Martin Luther King, Jr. quote We must build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear. Its important to rebuild. And to have our hopes and dreams persevere. In business and in life.
