It should also be taken into account that he is representing himself in count. In addition, this man has always been a thorny in the flesh in the legal system due to his propensity to have power and money. We are asking the law society and the head of the bar to take action. Mr Kasambara in the interim is using Mr Kondwani Zulu an officer at ACB to get all the information concerning his two cases from the ACB confidential office. In addition, all the statements that were submitted to the ACB have been photocopied and given to Mr Kasambara. In the meantime, Mr Kasambara is fighting hard to have the whole file of Deco Terra stone because he is aware that the case went undefended by the state. And this case also was handled by Mr Kasambara as Attorney General and he even drafted the letter to treasury directing them to release funds before the Secretary to treasury Mr Radson Mwadiwa and the then Solicter General Mr Anthony Kamanga told all Senior members of staff not to attend the request. During this period Mr Kasambara and Mr Makande a Peoples Party operative started going to the Ministry of Finance officials forcing them to pay the claim. It should be noted that at the same time Mr Kasambara was also pushing treasury directing Central Bank to issue the licence for New Finance Bank without supporting documents. Today the case has not yet been concluded and demands for compensations are being made, yet a banking licence was issued. The government should give the Zambian bank two options either a licence or meet the demands for the claim. It should be taken into account that Mr Kasambara in 2008 came up with a false character called James Phiri who was supporting Dr Bakili Muluzi’s intention to run for the third term. This false character never availed himself and this was in total disregard of legal ethics and this anomaly needs to be investigated. We are writing this letter to persude you people as part of the international community to force the Attorney General to suspend Mr Kasambara from the bar until these cases are concluded. We saying this because it’s very irregular for a lawyer to be representing himself and focus on character other than issues affecting the case. This does not give strength to the case and its affecting all those interested in the noble profession. We find his conduct very irregular and not inspiring.
