The British have these days called "Bank Holidays." We in America once had the same thing - it was called a 3-Day Weekend - usually on Memorial Day or Labor Day. But then emerged (after Sam died) WalMart and cheap furniture stores and car dealers trying to make a touch of Greedy Profit over national pride. Once upon an American dream was a 3-Day Weekend when people would actually celebrate the pride of a nation. Then came that silly thing called Greed.
