The Brunswick/SASBA Senior Tour has a member/guest doubles at Plano Super Bowl on October 19-20. We are partnering with Lynda Barnes to help raise funds for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). There will be a Pro-Am on the Saturday evening of the tournament at Plano Super Bowl on October 19th. Mark Busscher got our campaign off and running this last weekend by getting people to pledge a donation based on how many strikes he got in his 12 games of qualifying at Armadilla I in Pasadena, TX. His total was 88 strikes. He raised over $3800. Congrats Mark! It was so inspiring to watch Mark do this, I’m going to try it at Cowtown Bowling Palace in two weeks. I’m bowling the 70/60/50/guest foursome event. We also have a raffle and silent auction planned. Contact a SASBA member to find out how to help.
