The Brush Volunteer Fire Dept has made a plea for new or slightly used stuffed animals. They use these to comfort children at accident scenes or any kind of emergency situation. They realized how badly they needed them after the Clemons house fire where the family lost their 4 year old son Andrew. They desperately were looking for a stuffed animal for Andrew’s brother and they found the only one left on their truck. If you can help in any way, you can drop them off at the Chamber office and we will ensure the fire dept receives them from our Chamber members. If they receive an abundance of them, they will share with the sheriff’s dept, who also use them.
