The Buena Vista Rescue Squad is now seeking candidates for a full time EMS Supervisor. This position will work closely with our volunteers and officers to develop Operational guidelines and assist with the transition to full time career staffing during daylight hours, which we hope to achieve within the calendar year. Candidates for this position must possess a high school diploma, or equivalent, and must be certified in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an EMT-B or higher. Candidates are required to also have AHA CPR, Haz-Mat Awareness, and a clean driving record. Previous leadership experience required along with three years of relevant field experience. Anyone interested in this position may send a resume, cover letter, and copies of their current certifications to bvrsmembership@gmail. This position is open until filled.
