The Buhari Vanguard blames President Jonathan and his party, the PDP for the minor riot witnessed in some minute places in kano today In a statement issued by its Chairman, Com Jasper Azuatalam, the group said It has become glaringly clear that the peoples democratic Party led by president Goodluck Jonathan is responsible for the violence in Nigeria, especially in the Northern part of Nigeria. Today, while the King makers and traditional rulers in kano were busy deliberating and observing all traditional rituals to choose the next Emir of kano, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP went ahead to congratulate one of the contenders to the throne, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero, and announced him the next Emire of kano. It is unfortunate that an event was going on in kano and PDP announced a winner from Abuja, causing a lot of people to believe that the emergence of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was not free and fair. This has led to a few riots here and there in Kano. Though the PDP later withdrew its statements and apologized, the damage was done already as we believe it was a calculated attempt by PDP to cause havoc in Kano today. We advice all well meaning Kano residents to ignore the antics of PDP and understand that PDP has never meant well for Kano people and Nigerians. We congratulate Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the peoples choice for the Emir of Kano state.
