The Bull and Finch Pub Open Mic turned into something special. I didnt know that, as the model for Cheers, the Bull and Finch is a tourist mecca - I was seated between a couple from Vancouver and another from South Carolina. After my set, this gentleman started talking to me, telling me that he enjoyed the set. Turns out hes the owner. I get the bill from the waitress, he takes it from me and hands it back to the waitress (she, of course, gets a tip - she worked just as hard ...) Of course, for once I had a business card... And Jennifer Kirby is, besides being a really entertaining performer with a great voice, a charming and warm hostess, and a wonderful lady. Thank you for making me fell so welcome! And of course, it is a great pub!
