The Bush Administration did not consider Al-Qaida to be a serious threat AFTER the World Trade Center bombing. We do have clear hindsight that if the Supreme Court had allowed Al Gore his election the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in N.Y. would still be standing. President W. Bush retained Richard Clark as National Security Advisor but removed his cabinet level position. Clark’s warnings of Al-Qaida to strike using aircraft were repeatedly ignored by Condoleezza Rice and never reached President W. Bush’s Cabinet. Al Gore would have continued Clintons anti-terrorism policy. Al Gore would not have listened to the Bush Administrations neocon clowns. Bush put counter terrorism on the back burner in quest for Iraqi oil. Even after the World Trade Center bombing Bush and his Neocon pals, blinded by potential profits from Iraqi oil, did not consider Al-Qaeda a threat. “Richard Clark was National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection, and Counter-terrorism, the chief counter-terrorism adviser on the National Security Council. Under President George W. Bush, Clarke initially continued in the same position, but the position was no longer given cabinet-level access.” Against All Enemies: Inside Americas War on Terror (ISBN 0-7432-6823-7) is a 2004 award-winning[1] book by former U.S. chief counter-terrorism advisor Richard A. Clarke, criticizing past and present presidential administrations for the way they handled the War on Terrorism. The book focused much of its criticism on President George W. Bush, charging that he failed to take sufficient action to protect the country in the elevated-threat period before the September 11 attacks and for the 2003 invasion of Iraq, which Clarke feels greatly hampered the War on Terrorism. The books title comes from the oath of office taken by all U.S. federal officials. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Against_All_Enemies
