The CHP is reporting that there is an extended closure of Highway 175 in Cobb – from Harrington Flat Road to Loch Lomond – due to a vehicle crash and downed power lines. Initial reports from the scene indicate that a car – described as a white Acura – hit a power pole shortly after 9:30 a.m. The vehicles three occupants walked away from the scene, with one later checking into St. Helena Hospital Clear Lake. Reports from the scene are indicating the closure could continue for much of the day. The CHP also is reporting that one-way traffic is now in effect on Highway 29 near Robert Louis Stevenson Park, where a truck overturned and blocked the road shortly after 10 a.m. Additional details will be provided as they become available.
