The Cabin in the Woods. Written by non other than the great Joss Whedon, it is impossible to review this film properly without spoiling it because almost every detail would be a spoiler. Suffice to say it begins as your typical horror format: group of teenagers go to a cabin in the woods for a getaway. It stars Chris Hemsworth amongst the cast as well as a very surprise appearance from a famed horror heroine. It has as many surprises, twists and turns that really flips horror on its head. A definate watch for any horror fan, especially if youre a fan of the 80s/90s genres. 10/10
