The Cape Vulture that hit a powerline and broke his leg, as well as getting electrocuted, went for his checkup today. Sadly, the breaks in the leg have not knitted. There has been huge improvement in the wounds though with a lot of new tissue growth, and generally he is healthy. It was decided that we would not give up on the leg and another operation was performed today, with him due for a checkup in about 3 weeks time. We really hope for the best.
