The Carmel Foundation and Chef Kurt Grasing host Philanthropic Foodies Philanthropic Foodie- 1. a person having an avid interest in the latest food fads who dispenses help with funds set aside for humanitarian purposes. 2. a person attending a fabulous feast in a unique setting benefiting area seniors. Chef Kurt Grasing and The Carmel Foundation are hosting “Philanthropic Foodies,” an exceptional gourmet pop-up fundraising event in support of The Carmel Foundation’s programming and services. This event will feature a hors d’oeuvres and wine reception, silent auction, followed by a tasteful plated dinner paired with fine wines from local vintners in the elegant setting of the Sunset Center.
