The Case is Clear: The US Should Stay Out of Syria I think this - TopicsExpress

The Case is Clear: The US Should Stay Out of Syria I think this Irish lady knows what she is talking about. As I have pointed out on my Facebook page based on my limited information sources, for the same reasons this lady so eloquently and emphatically says here, we the US should stay the hell out of Syria. Why would Obama even dream of invading Syria in the face of this kind of information? The only thing I can think of is that he is now in league with the US military-industrial complex who want to use Syria as a rainmaker for their vested interests, a rainmaker being someone or something that causes your business revenues to increase. I voted for Obama and in general I think he has been a good president, but it seems to me he is badly off the mark here. A problem is one would think someone like Obama with access to secret information dug up by US intelligence sources funded with billions of dollars would know more than the average citizen, including me, about what to do about this sort of thing. Unfortunately Bush II and his cronies starting the war in Iraq definitely proved this sort of logic does not always work. They flat out lied. This lady says 70 percent of the Syrian people do not want foreign intervention, which comports with what I had read earlier. I thought it was 60 percent, but even that percentage is enough to tell me the US has no legitimate business whatsoever in Syria. This lady says the Syrian government invited the UN to come in right after the gas release to determine who did it. For sure lightweight political hacks like John McCain and Lindsey Graham do not know as much about what is going on in Syria as this brilliant brave woman.
