The Cat & Cauldron (accounting) year is at an end, and we need to - TopicsExpress

The Cat & Cauldron (accounting) year is at an end, and we need to celebrate everything the lying arseholes in Westminster are telling us about the recession being over. If its over, and things are better, we are in deep, deep kack. We are seriously DOWN on last year summer quarter takings, which in themselves were pathetic, and British customers are still noticeably struggling to spend over £10 per purchase (when our average purchase used to be £25), and then looking highly offended when I refuse discount on grounds of struggling to pay the rates - even in the high season. But the Government tells me the value of my house is going up by £1000 a month, so thats alright then. Except that the arseholes wont of course lend me anything against that to get the business kick-started, of course, because - Im not making money..... It would officially be MUCH better for me to retire, cash the house price in to get a living wage, and meanwhile let another business go to the wall. First world problem maybe, but it happens to be the one I live in.....
