The Catholic Church is APOSTATE!!! Denying man (Priests) the right to marry goes against what is taught in the Bible and is a serious offense before God. The Catholic Church has many false practices and deviates from Gods Word by exalting man-made doctrines and traditions above the Holy Bible. Definition of apostate: a·pos·tate (əˈpäsˌtāt,-tit) noun: apostate; plural noun: apostates 1. a person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle. synonyms: dissenter, defector, deserter, traitor, backslider, turncoat; I will give you two examples out of many where the Catholic Church ignores Gods Word and practices traditions or doctrines that are forbidden in the Holy Bible. First, it is written in Gods Word that no one is to add or detract from its text: “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” (Deut. 4:2.) “What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.” (Deut. 12:32.) Second, Jesus, God incarnate, rebukes and warns the Pharisees and Sadducee not to exalt themselves above others Jews and gentiles alike. The first and second commandments state that we are to love our God and our neighbor as ourselves. Here a two examples, doctrines, that are serious offenses and ignore or contradict direct commands in given in the Holy Bible: 1) Calling clergy FATHER 2) Not allowing priests to MARRY 1) Calling clergy FATHER: Jesus, God incarnate, commands that in the church, church members are not to call anyone Father. Each church member plays a role. All are equal. All parts work together to make a whole. Matthew 23:8-10: Woes to Scribes and Pharisees 8But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9DO NOT CALL ANYONE ON EARTH YOUR FATHER; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ 2) Not allowing priests to MARRY In the Book of Titus, the Apostle Paul lists the requirements of and Elder An elder is another word for what the Catholic church calls a PRIEST today. Titus says an elder should have ONE WIFE. All the Apostles married except the Apostle Paul and that was his choice. He could have married if he chose to but because Paul was told by Jesus to go to every nation baptizing in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit and went on three missionary journeys he did not want to have restrictions on him having to move around so much so he decided not to marry and or have a family Titus 1:6: Appointment of Elders (Clergy/Bishops/Priests/Deacons) on Crete 5For this reason I left you in Crete, that you would set in order what remains and appoint elders in every city as I directed you, 6namely, if any man is above reproach, THE HUSBAND OF ONE WIFE, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion. 7For the overseer must be above reproach as Gods steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain. So because the Catholic Church has defied Gods Word, I believe Gods judgment/wrath has fallen on the Catholic Church and still remains. For example, the pedophilia scandal in my opinion is the curse. Pedophiles more than likely become priests to get to the children. Many are sick even before they enter the church. The church is a wonderland for young boys. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
