The Cayman Islands Marathon was awesome!!! (The organizers are fantastic!!) My first relay marathon and I am so thankful for all the support! A Step Ahead Physiotherapy got me sorted so I could get to the starting line and Christine.... I want to say you were the most amazing and supportive person I could see after the run today! You made me laugh, and kept reminding me this was for fun! I am so grateful. Thank you!! Quintessential Moves Quinn McCrimmon you are so awesome and encouraging! Thanks for helping me stay more on track and teaching me the importance of stretching!!! Jose Rochez you know my right foot thanks you and I did what I was supposed to every night.... Even when I felt better !! Ria Scott Blyth! Thank you for reminding me about whats important and being so positive! If I had to be up at the crack of Dawn Im glad I was next to you... Before you jetted off into the darkness of leg 2!! Awesomeness!! Thank you for collecting me, making that huge breakfast and listening(well half way listening Russ Sager) to my rantings about times, results, blisters, water stops and teamwork Tessa Baker Thank you Beth Walton Hiryok for having the best water stop!! Yall got my vote!! I learned so many things preparing for and running in this marathon and Im very lucky to have gotten all the encouragement from my friends and did it with no injuries!!! Was fantastic to watch Derek Haines cross the finish line and raise the $1 million + for Cayman HospiceCare!!! According to the lady on my iPod what I ran was over 10K ( in fact I think it was closer to 7 miles when it all got added up... But officially my time was 1 hr 20 mins and secs for 6.7 miles....
