The Central Arizona Land Trust dinner called the 50-Mile Feast was a big success and the weather turned out perfect. Chino Valley Farms hosted and organized the event. I am proud of my FCCLA Culinary students for stepping up and helping out with the preparation and even some that came to help serve and be valets. We were awarded with a elegantly framed menu from last years feast! What a great partnership with local agriculture and such a good experience for the students to work with professional chefs. A special thanks to Jesse who worked on her 18th birthday and then again today. Thanks to Joey for finding a ride and spending the whole day helping in the kitchen. Jessica, Danielle, and Caitlyn all looked beautiful as servers. Nice to know I can count on James to round up some CVHS basketball players that like to drive for the valet service. Way to go everyone!
