The Central Region Sport and Recreation Council will be offering a five week Summer Hiking series through July-August. All hikes will take place Wednesday mornings at 10:00am. Hikers are asked to meet at the selected trail by 9:45am. July 17 – Goat Trail – Strathgartney Provincial Park July 24 – Breadalbane Nature Trail - Breadalbane July 31 – Scales Pond Trail – South Freetown August 7 – Homestead Trail – Cavendish Grove August 14 – Fort Amherst/Port La Joye – Rocky Point Participants should bring their own water bottle for hydration and a light snack that they can carry with them. This program is open to all level of hikers from beginner to experienced.
