The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music is proud to present, an explosive jazz quartet from France, OZMA , tonight Tuesday 22 July 2014 at 18:00. OZMAs Jazz means energy and openness, freedom of swing music and effectiveness of rock - within groovy compositions and a formidable team spirit. Colorful, explosive, exciting and always generous, the band OZMA lays between a mutant band and a jungle of sound. It is a group of nowadays, defending its creative and eclectic music with heart. OZMA won the 2006 National Jazz Competition Jazz A la Défensein Parissicians and has played in over 120 concerts across Europe, Africa and Asia. OZMA’s originality : a searching spirit, a universe of sonic interactions, and truly melodic compositions. On one hand OZMA seems to be a mutant jazz band, on the other, an electric jungle of sounds, a group of nowadays, working within the heritage of rock, jazz, and experimental music.
