The Challenge of Being Maze Jackson: Often times I say the things that make people uncomfortable because, while they are not politically correct, they are true. Combine that with my youthful good looks, my treble friendly voice, and my ability to be easily excited, and highly animated, especially around the game of politics...sometimes people tend to see me as funny as compared to a student of the game. Then add the fact that I am a child of the hip-hop generation, so I might change up my style every now and then, say what I REALLY mean no sugarcoating, and in public, without fear, which tends to make some of the melanin challenged decision makers uncomfortable, and allows the Blacks in suits to make me scary unpredictable and try to challenge my loyalty instead of recognizing that I know my business. A White guy analyzes politics, makes predictions, and is correct...HES a political strategist. I do the same thing, am more accurate tahn any of the so called pundits, and Im a hater? Shout out to Dorothy Tucker, Charles Thomas, Perri Small, Matt McGill Mark Brown, Chris Martinez and the media outlets that took the time to pay attention to my pre-election analysis as a PROFESSIONAL and acknowledged its accuracy POST ELECTION. Perhaps the one day, I can wear the same jeans and t-shirt and be right that a white guy can wear and be considered quirky or an individualist instead of a unprofessional or thuggish.
