The Chamber of Accounts in the Senate In Yaounde Cameroon 1st Forum discussions with the Finance Committee and the Budget of the institution took place yesterday. And can summarize the objectives of the first forum of exchange between members of the Finance Committee and the Senate Budget and Accounts Chamber of the Supreme Court yesterday in the palace of glass Ngoa-Ekellé. First meeting of its kind since the effective implementation of the Senate, it has allowed both sides to discuss the theme of "external control of public finances in light of the new financial regime of the state and direction of the Economic Community and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC). For his part, President of the Chamber of Accounts of the Supreme Court, Marc Ateba Ombala expressed the hope that this first meeting lays the foundation for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two institutions. He noted the context of holding these meetings that occur after the signing on May 15 of Presidential Decree on General Rules of Public Accounts in accordance with the guidelines of the CEMAC. These are also returned in the presentation for work, including those relating to the code of transparency and good governance in the management of public finances, finance laws and general regulations of public accounting.
