The Chamber of Commerce Education Council is pleased to bring “Delivering Great Customer Service – How to Deliver on a Promise and Keep Customers Happy” to our members and local businesses. Award-winning talk show host, keynote speaker, and workshop moderator Pam Atherton will present the workshop on Tuesday, June 10 from 9 am until noon at the Pecos River Village Conference Center – 711 Muscatel Avenue. Key points for the workshop include: • Understanding the differing values in generations, age, and culture • Strategies for dealing with unhappy customers • Learning how to identify what a customer wants, not just what he/she may ask for • Specific strategies and tactics for delivering good customer service, as well as Do’s and Don’ts The fee for Tuesday is: • $35 per person for Chamber members • $40 per person for non-Chamber members • If a business registers five individuals, they may register a sixth for free! As a bonus, Ms. Atherton will be offering “Laying the Foundation for Employee Effectiveness” for the owners and managers who will have employees at the Tuesday workshop. This 90-minute session will briefly cover understanding and working with different generations, communication styles for auditory/visual/kinesthetic learners, and creating the working environment that is conducive to good customer service. This special presentation will be at 6 pm on Monday, June 9 at the Pecos River village Conference Center. There is no charge for this additional session that is specifically designed for the owners and managers of those employees who will be attending the Tuesday workshop.
