The Chantecler cabaret was next to the Comedy Theatre in Paraná between Lavalle and Corrientes. It opened in December 1924 and during the 30s it was also called Vieux Paris and his forehead was decorated with a windmill and details of Montmartre. The orchestra was emblematic of Juan DArienzo. The animator and PR man was Ángel Sánchez Carreño, The Cuban Prince. It was demolished in 1960 and Henry Cadícamo evoked in his tango Adios Chantecler.
