The Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History in Detroit is open freely every second Sunday of each month from 1 - 5 p.m.. For those of you who have never been to Detroit or visit the museum, please come and join us. The Charles H. Wright of African-American History is the largest museum in the United States of America. The museum will take you on a interesting journey from Pre-historic Africa, the African way of life, the slave ship, American/Detroit history to the present times of our culture. The trans-Atlantic slave trade and slave ship exhibits are awesome. Plus, there are historic and scientific activities for children in the basement. Come and visit us, let us take to a journey where you never been.
