The Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world, has departed Mystic Seaport on her historic 38th voyage. Her earlier voyages, for the purpose of whaling, took place in the 1800s. In mid-July she will be moored off Provincetown and will be viewable from shore during day sails. Later in the month she will be at Massachusetts Maritime Academy for the celebration of the Cape Cod Canal Centennial.
