The Chief Justice of The Russian Federation, Rt. Hon. Justice Viacheslav Mikhailovic Lebedev who was involved in a motor accident at Kpetomi Junction, near Tsito in the Volta Region is in a stable condition and we thank God for that. The Rt. Hon Lebedev is in the country as a guest of the Ghanaian Judiciary was returning to Accra via Akosombo after opening the Conference of the Ghana Bar Association in Ho when the accident occurred at about 3:oopm on Monday. Initial investigations show that the accident occurred when a tipper truck suddenly veered into the lane in which his convoy was travelling. The Rt. Hon Lebedev who is currently at the intensive care unit of the 37 Military Hospital was brought to Accra through an emergency Airlift conducted by the Ghana Airforce.
