The Children’s Society – volunteering opportunity We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and patient individuals to mentor young refugees, to help them reach their educational goals. This is part of our HEARTS Project based at the LEAP Programme, working with young refugees across Leeds. We offer: a full induction and training for the role, on-going support, new learning and development opportunities, a chance to meet new people, reimbursement of reasonable expense, the chance to make a real difference to the life of a young person. We ask for a commitment of 1-2 hours per week over a six month period.
