The Chinese Business Chamber in Tanzania (CBCT) has applauded Tanzanian media for their coverage of poaching issues including the ongoing Operation Tokomeza against poaching particularly for elephant. On the same note, it condemned Chinese nationals in the country who were arrested with ivory earlier this month. “On behalf of CBCT, we would like to applaud the Tanzanian media for its encouraging efforts in disseminating news concerning poaching in the country,” said CBCT Chairman Janson Huang in a statement released late last week.
