The Christian County Womens Shelter (aka Freedoms Rest) NEEDS OUR HELP! Their building is falling apart (flooding, plumbing and electrical issues, etc.) and they need personal hygiene products, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc in order to continue helping the women and children from the 6 counties they serve that have fled domestic violence. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. If you can help, drop the products off at the radio station...2453 E. Elm Street in Springfield...and well get the supplies to them. Or, you can drop off the supplies at any Cox EMS station in Christian County. They have locations in Ozark, Nixa, Sparta and Spokane. If you can help in other ways, maybe youre handy with tools, or you are a business that can donate some time to help them repair or replace their building, call 582-0344.
