The Christian life is like a journey in a sea—full of storms. There are storms in the house, storms in the family, storms in the neighborhood and storms in our city, county, states and capitol. All these try to shake and weaken our faith with doubts and fears. But God, knowing our need, has made provision for us, and given unto us four anchors. You will find them in Acts 2:41-42. The early church, which should be our pattern, knew these four anchors: 1. They began and continued in the apostles’ doctrine. 2. Continued in Fellowship, 3. Continued In the breaking of bread—remembering the Lord as He requested. 4. Continued in prayer. Do these and you will not fail.
