The Church has to rethink, revise or re-interpret some essential aspects of its religion. This is to achieve commonness with other religions in part at least. While the Dalai Lama speaks of ethics beyond religion, and while others attentively listen to him, it should become clear to the Church that ethics based on God in the judgmental sea,t with heaven and hell in store, becomes weak and meaningless. With that, the traditional portrayal of salvation too becomes mystic and mythological. In fact, even God and the Trinity need robust scientific existential elaboration in order to reject all that could and does exist in fanatics mind only, and to brush shoulders with dialectical secular humanism. Extending this line of thought to other belief systems, they must learn to bend in a climate of purposeful Interfaith. Jagatguru
