The City Government of Dasmariñas is truly delighted that the City of Dasmariñas has been selected as the site of the De La Salle High School that has already surpassed expectations with an enrollment of more than 700 new high school students. To warmly welcome such a significant event in the City of Dasmariñas, your city officials joined Bro. Gus Boquer in the inauguration ceremonies on July 23, 2014 with no less than DepEd Sec. Armin Luistro as the Guest of Honor. With regard to this, the City Government initiated efforts to coordinate with th De La Salle High School regarding the anticipated traffic problem considering that 20 school buses and 170 vehicles were issued with car passes, thus, the expected long queue along Gov. Mangubat Avenue as the students are brought to school before 7:30am and fetched at around 4:30pm. Rest assured that the City Government shall take the necessary action to address the traffic concerns of motorists and commuters alike. As a matter of fact, even prior to the opening of classes at the De La Salle High School, your Local Government has been looking for funds for the widening of the bridge near the Gate 3 of De La Salle University - Dasmariñas. In the meantime, the public is advised to expect heavy traffic along Gov. Mangubat Avenue starting on July 28, 2014 (Monday). Please plan ahead and/or take alternate routes.
