The City budget for Toronto grew from $6.6Bn to $9.4Bn during Millers terms. This is an increase of nearly 50%. No wonder we elected Ford. As Ive always said, Ford is the mayor Toronto deserves after 6 years of Miller. Since Ford has been in office, the budget has grown from $9.38Bn to $9.4Bn - during the same period, Millers increased by $1Bn, whereas Fords increased by $20MM. If the lefties wants to look at whos responsible for Bluto running the City, it is their own irresponsible and egregious increases in taxes during Millers terms that are to blame. If there is any hope for our city, it is that a fiscally responsible, well spoken, and decent human being steps forward to present a viable option to the voters. And the voters, of course, will reject that person and re-elect Ford. Or worse, another leftie who believes taxpayers are there to provide an endless supply of money for their personal feel-good projects, and that we should all hold hands and sing kumbaya in a bike lane, because cars are bad, and we should all take the subway or ride bikes. In winter. In Toronto.
