The City of Lawrence is lucky to have Acting Chief Fitzpatrick. Although we have had successful Chiefs serve from the outside in the past, no one in any nationwide or worldwide search would have more integrity or dedication to the job. Both the citizens of Lawrence or the men and woman who serve with him should have to break in another outsider who doesnt understand that there is the right way, the wrong way and the Lawrence way! Sometimes you need look no further for the best.
