The City of Mary Esther has cancelled the boil-water advisory for residents in the eastern section of the city from Mary Esther Boulevard to the City limits. The advisory was issued Thursday morning May 1, 2014 after a chlorine pump failure at Well # 4. The advisory was prompted by reduced chlorine levels (disinfection) in the affected area. The City of Mary Esther has completed bacteriological testing and the results show the water is safe to drink.
