The City of Snoqualmie Human Services Committee has an opening for a new member. To be considered, the new member must reside within Snoqualmie city limits. Each year, the City of Snoqualmie assigns 1% of its general fund to community and human service organizations that serve the greater Snoqualmie Valley and provide services that benefit children, seniors, individuals and families in need. Human services organizations apply for the funding in the fall; Human Services Committee members review the applications make recommendations to the Snoqualmie City Council for funds allocation. Applications are available on the city website at cityofsnoqualmie.org; click “City Government” and then “Commissions and Boards.” Applications may be hand delivered to Snoqualmie City Hall at 38624 SE River Street, or mailed to Jodi Warren, City Clerk, P.O. Box 987, Snoqualmie, Washington, 98065. For more information, please contact Debra Whalawitsa at [email protected] or 425-888-1555
