The Clark County Jail has again passed its yearly inspection by the Illinois Department of Corrections. The inspection report is available for public review. On the cover letter from the Jail and Detentions Standards Unit Manager the following statement was made: The jail was very clean and staff was courteous and professional. Specialist Fritchle noted that she spoke with most detainees and received no complaints or cause for concern from anyone but in fact some detainees complimented the jail staff. We are proud of our jail and staff and thank the residents of Clark County for providing us with the tools needed to perform this function.
