The Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses have done some - TopicsExpress

The Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses have done some great work this week. This contraversial billboard in Melbourne has been the topic of many discussions in the media this week. Is an image of a dead race horse really so offensive? If so, then every image of ham, chicken, pork and lamb should be removed from all media as well. I find it ironic that the people criticising this image, saying that its inappropriate for children to see, would have no problem standing in front of a butcher and allowing their children to make a selection of flesh from the range of dead animals on display. Surely an image of a dead animal is not nearly as offensive as touching and seeing (and eating) real animal flesh? And what about the ducks hanging in the windows of Asian restaurants? mamamia.au/news/melbourne-cup-animal-cruelty/
