The Colerain Police Department will conduct a written examination for full-time, reserve, part-time Police Officer positions on September 20, 2014 at 9am to fill current and future vacant Police Officer positions. Detailed information regarding the test will be provided in advance of test date. Candidates must be a U.S Citizen , have a valid drivers license, and be 21 years of age or older, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Duties include maintaining law and order, investigating traffic and criminal offenses, and protecting life and property within Colerain Township. Candidates must successfully complete the following test: written, physical fitness, oral interview, CVSA, background check, psychological screening, and medical with drug screen. The written test will be waived for experienced Police Officers meeting certain criteria. A $25 non-refundable administrative fee is required at time of test. It is anticipated the testing process will be completed prior to December 1,2014. Candidates may register for the test by submitting a completed application to the Colerain Police Department, 4200 Springdale road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45251, 24 hours per day, Monday - Friday and Saturday and Sunday 8 am until 6pm.
