The Collar Fastening Ceremony is a big ole deal at The Amos Academy. Dogs without families dont have collars. So, getting your first collar can only mean one thing - You Have A Family! If you dont believe that, take the collar off your dog and see what happens. Last evening was a special Collar Fastening Ceremony for our new foster boy, Gordon. Gordon was presented with a brand new red collar with his own tags and then we proceeded to a special mat on the carpeted floor to congratulate him for having his very own family! We document the ceremony with a photo of all of us congratulating Gordon with his new collar. And, it’s amazing that when a new collar and leash comes out of the pet store bag, then all of us dogs gather around cause we just know something special is about to happen. It’s a great experience at the Amos Academy and anywhere else that a collar is fastened to a dog’s neck!
