The Colonels been away all week having its bodywork fettled. It was supposed to be a bit of light restoration to tidy up the rear valance and quarter under the filler cap. It turned into having these great chunks of rot cut out of the sills, holes in the floor pans welded up and the rear screens drains replaced. The car looks superb now thanks to Tony Guest in Sheerness working his magic. If anyone wants top quality work done, I recommend Tony, a fellow Allegro owner and a very talented young man and a thoroughly nice bloke. Was very happy to be met at the station by Tony driving his lovely GT6.
