The Comcast Saga continues… After another two hours on the phone with retention, Im bringing back the free DVR that theyve been charging us for the last three months. They still insist I have a past due balance but I now have a ticket for a supervisor to call me back on Wednesday (which happens to be New Years Eve, so the likelihood of that happening is about as much as me sprouting tail feathers). Since they want to argue so much about this stupid free DVR they can have the dang thing! I have now returned it and Ive gotten the regular digital box that is supposed to be included in my subscription. They will not win, I will not stand for being lied to, and Comcast is going to make my bill right. Im tired of being told one thing by customer service only to find out a completely different thing when the bill arrives! When I call them about it, Im told theres no evidence of the previous rep making the offer that I was supposed to receive.
